I don't know if I could get away from that one. I'd probably call, thinking villain either has A9, A5, or you're splitting with another AK. I strongly doubt he'd push trips with such a small pot, and no straight or flush card fell.

Then again, two pair seems to be the hand of death for me. I always seem to get busted with it. Other opinions?

Why are you folding this hand?

You're much more likely to be ahead than behind.

Raise preflop and I don't see how folding the turn can be right.

I didn't catch that. Why didn't you raise PF? You'd more than likely bump out all the low pairs that would trouble you here, and have a much better idea how to play it.

I still think it's a clear call, even with your scenario, though.

with no raise pf the guy pushing cant possibly be putting you on AK. he might have K9, A9, A5, no way too people forgot to raise AK pf?

on the flop its probably more apporpriate to bet the pot than 40, same with turn. then call the allin, if he had 99, sign up again. giving up way way way too much here. btw whats your name on pokerstars so i can put a note to always come over the top?

I'm going with his attempt to try and buy the pot with a decent number of outs.

How likely is it he has Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Flush draw and onesided straight draw. He thinks he has 13 outs, and otherwise can buy the pot.
