Harrah\'s East Chicago has gone completely insane

Particularly the $10-20 game, but the whole place is pretty much a zoo.

20-25 BB pots are becoming routine. Five players calling 3-bets to see a flop. Limp-reraising with Q9s. Calling a river checkraise with 6th pair. The World's Worst No Limit Players have 2 freaking tables now. Miserable players moving into a semi-routine $40-80 game, so the $20-40 is cleaned out of the few pros and semi-solid players and devolves into a PP $3-6 game.

Harrah's rules. Actually, I rule and nobody else there does, and that's why Harrah's rules too. If other players get good, I'll still rule but Harrah's won't anymore.

When does the 40 game go most often? Has it ever gotten any bigger?

Weekends and a couple other days. There have been want lists for $50-100, I don't know how many of those have gotten off.

I beg to differ sir...I play the NL there, and usually do VERY well. You are right though..I see some very bad play going on. Last thrsday night got there around 10pm, got a seat right away, and double my 500$ buy in first hand when I raised to 50$ preflop with QQ to a guy who reraised to 100$ I then see a flop of 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I push he calls...turns over 87 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. The turn comes a blank, and the river the nice 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and MHIG. I know i was behind after the flop, but I will take my chances with guys raising me preflop with middle suited connectors. The over all play is bad, and I enjoy taking 500-1000 each time I visit. I took 1600$ off the table that night, 700 on the last hand with k6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] whne a guy called my all in of 500 on the flop of k [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. He turned over k2os
Gotta love the NL there.

Really so your a pro now and will play exclusively at this Harrahs correct??

I mean 750 a day (with tax fudging possibilities) sure beats most day jobs where im from.

That game is excellent. I meant at 8/10 players in the game are typically terrible, and often 10/10. Now there are 2 tables, which typically reduces the number of good players/table.

I am not a professional player, but yes I play exclusively at Harrah's.

While I did have a 6-week winning streak early on, the current nature of the game is extremely swingy. On a very bad night with a couple lost kill pots, I think it would be very easy to play excellent poker and still drop $1K in the $10-20 game over a few hours. I've lost $500 in an 90 minutes more than once, and overall I kill the game. I'd want a 300 BB bankroll for any limit game there, though I bet you could get by with a sub-optimal bankroll in the NL game.
