I know its been done before..help me plan my 1st vegas trip! 21st bday
 

Im turning 21 april 9th and plan on heading down to vegas by myself for a couple of nights. The 9th is a saturday, so id like to arrive that morning, stay saturday night, sunday night, and come home monday whenever.
Ill mostly be playing poker. NL 1/2-2/5ish. I prefer nonsmoking cardrooms.
Hotel doesnt matter too much for me, though id like to keep it relatively inexpensive. I know im going to pay a lot for a room saturday night, but if i could average arounnd or below 150 a night, that would be doable.
What should i do while im there besides poker? Shows/clubs/etc? Im a quiet introvert, but ive thought about getting drunk off my ass and going crazy for a weekend.
Right now, excalibur seems to be the front runner. Cheaper rooms, they have a 1/2 NL game. Im not sure if its nonsmoking though.

Go to a strip club sober. You got to realize it is a huge scam to make you think they are going to give you the real goods. But I would have to go if it were my 21st. myabe go to cheetah's to give you the excuse that you had to see the place in the book positively fifth st.

Don't stay at Excalibur, it's ghetto. Stay somewhere nicer.

im a loner. even if i went with friends, im not sure any of them would enjoy all that vegas has to offer (poker, booze, hookers)
Where would you recommend instead of excalibur?

Skip the 1/2NL...go straight to the 2/5NL. If you don't like smoking (me neither), then go to Mirage. If you can handle the smoke, go to the Palms (on weekends; weekdays its mostly all locals/rocks). If you want to stay to a lower buy in, go to Mandalay Bay, they have a 2/4NL, $200 buy in, and it's a pretty good game.
