Final Pot: t8530

Too big of a flop bet? I think the pot should be 2425 after the flop though. 800+800+200sb+400bb+225 ante.

This is very bad to smooth call a mini raise here. It has a very good chance of the BB coming along with a good drawing had that can kill you on a good flop. I would Push here nearly every time, if he folds oh well.

Push PF. And his check following a PF raise is more than suspicious. I'm gonna laugh if he had KK and you sucked out.

Its not bad in this situation...I only like smooth calling reraises or large raises.

I would have reraised preflop to 1800 because I never play Aces slow. On the flop, I think your line is a great move because you are overbetting the pot on the check. You are behind any Tx and KK, but I think you got all the money in with best hand probably.

Good point on letting the bb come in with a drawing hand. He would probably be getting good odds on a call here. Would another min-raise here be too suspicous? With my overbet of flop what hands would he call with?

i posted a fairly similar hand (title something like "trapping with KK"). based on that thread, i think that good players would recommend raising to ~T1700 here. i guess the idea is to guarantee getting more money in, and to basically just saw "screw it" to the fact that you're defining your hand pretty well.

Usually with hands better than yours...Unless he is an idiot which is quite possible.
