Atlantic City questions

Me and two roommates are going to be in South Jersey in a few weeks, and so we figure we'll head into AC and see what casinos we can sneak into (we're all 19). So I have a few questions.

Anyone under 21 know of a few casinos that are easier to walk into than others? Also, I'm obviously looking for a good selection of poker tables. I've heard the Tropicana is good for this, but that's all second hand info. Also, I'm curious about the rakes at the 1-2 limit and NL tables, since that's likely what I'll be playing.

If you look like you're 21 you are unlikely to get carded anywhere. If you look younger the Trop is your best bet.

They don't have 1/2 limit, I think the rake on the 1/2 no limit is 10% capped at $4.

What he said, plus if you get into a place without any problems, don't try to be bold and order beer from the cocktail waitresses because they may card you.

rake on 1/2 nl and every limit game south of 10/20 in ac is 10% to 4.

It used to be 5% to $4 when they spread the pink chip game.

Follow-up question: is 1/2 the lowest stakes you're getting as far as NL goes? My roommate would prefer lower stakes - I don't care either way.

Yes.

like the rake in that game would be less than 4 ever either way?

if you arent 21 and dont have at LEAST a fake id, STAY HOME

having an underage player/drinker busted only ruins the experience in the future for everyone else when we are getting carded every 5 minutes because of assholes that think they deserve to be above the law.

Re: Atlantic City questions

showing a fake in a casino is what i like to call a really, really bad idea. going in without an id and quietly leaving when you get carded does nothing to detract from the experiences of others.
