General question about aggresssion?

When I reached my first 3.5k hands of .5/1 limit full ring games at party, my aggression factors were
<< PFR 5.54% / Aggression PF: 0.40 / Flop: 1.75 / Turn: 1.65 / River: 1.43 >>

I was told that my play is too passive. Later I try to become more aggressive. Now after 10k more hands, I improve it a little bit to:

<< PFR 6.21 / Aggression PF: 0.48 / Flop: 1.83 / Turn: 1.79 / River: 1.53 >>

I know it is still far from ideal. My target pf raise rate would be 7~7.5. But I am not sure how aggressive I should be on flop/turn/river? Can you tell me that what is the proper aggression factor on each street in your mind?

Thanks

Re: General question about aggresssion?

aim for an average in the 2.3-2.8 range (excluding PF)

well, if you read SSHE, the hands posted here, and post some of your own, you'll end up somewhere in the 2.0-3.0 postflop aggression range.

from btspider's faq (in progress)

AF: aggression factor. This is an arbitrary number representing the relative frequency of which you are the aggressor on each street. The numbers vary greatly by your style and posting specific hands is generally better to determine if your aggressiveness is appropriate. VPIP/PFR account for your preflop aggression, so generally ignore AF - PF. Your postflop aggression will typically be around 2 - 3 on each postflop street. The flop is often higher than the turn and river, often exceeding 3.0. A micro posters overall AF (not including PF) will typically be in the 2.0 - 3.0 range. Some posters report success with overall AF's over 3, but nearly none have AF's under 2. This is not a stat worth overanalyzing unless it is woefully low or maniacally high.

2-3 per street typically. some have higher than that. read books/hands to determine where you can add more aggression. not much else to say.
