after the hand I realized that i didn't like the concept of building a draw up front. I don't always raise with AQs and other hands like it up front but it is something that I'll sometimes do. Also i was unsure of whether to bet or check the turn and I think it was the stack sizes that got me. If i bet and was reraised i'd almost certainly have to muck but he could give me a cheap shot at it if I checked and there'd still be money left to bet. So just wondering how others would play this hand.

If we take it as read, that we need to mix things up...

I would generally like to be multi way with my A suited, especially in early position. so I would have limped, called a reasonable bet, bet the flop, and proceeded with caution if I didnt buy the pot right there. I wouldn't have fired any more barrels on the turn or river, unless there was any specific info on the players in the pot.

Raising AQs in EP can go either way. But once you raised it, I think you played it well. Good thing he made that weak bet on the turn.

i don't like the flop bet. not enough of a chance that you'll take it down with a coordinated flop and 3 opponents.
