TP w/ good kicker, flush on board

Bunch o' questions for this hand - a) Do I raise pre-flop UTG?, b) Knowing BB raised pre-flop, is my raise on the flop correct? c) Should I have folded on the turn?

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero calls, 4 folds, Button calls, SB completes, BB raises, Hero calls, Button calls, SB folds.

Flop: (7 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)

Turn: (8 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)

Assuming the BB is a not a fruitcake:

1. Yes. Raise AJs in an unraised pot from everywhere.

2. I would just call on the flop. You're either crushed, or doing the crushing. If the BB has a hand like QQ you don't want him to stop betting. If he has a hand like AK you don't want him to start raising.

3. Because of the way the flop played out I think you can fold to the turn bet. He's apparently not too concerned about the Ace on the board, so he's probably got you beaten.

You lost a little more than you should have on this one, I think.

EDIT - Sorry... I thought you were heads-up w/ the PF raiser, so that pretty much changes everything.

I'm going to bed.

Raise AJs in unraised pot from any position.

I would fold the turn, think about the range of hands that BB would play this way and then look at which ones you beat. I can only think of one hand you beat on the turn, that is AT.

So basically BB needs to be pretty LAG to not have you beat and the pot size isn't really big enough to call down in my opinion.

a) I pretty much automatically raise AJs UTG. Sometimes I raise AJo UTG too.

b) I would raise the flop to put more pressure on Button, who could have a hand that's worth calling one bet but not two against yours.

Unfortunately, when BB 3-bets, that does probably indicate that you're in trouble. But I wouldn't come to that conclusion based just on his preflop raise and his initial flop bet.

c) On the turn, my thinking would be that I'm probably behind BB, Button (who called three flop bets) is still to act, and the flush card just hit. I'm not assuming Button just made his flush, but it is possible, and I'm already worried that I'm losing to BB. Unless you had seen BB get out of line before, I think folding is probably best.

Raise preflop. Fold the turn IMO.
