So I'm having cable modem problems and had used up my
disconnect protection on Party. I get AA and make my way to
the river with a probable winner, the first two guys check
and I'm last to act. Pot is $60 at $2/$4.

At the exact moment that I click the check button, I lose
connection. After it comes back, I request the hand
history. Yep, they FOLDED me.

What the hell? Tech support was less than sympathetic, and
all I got back was a stupid $10 bonus.

Why on earth would they make their software fold you upon
disconnect when checking is an option?

Yes, that's how it works, but why is that so? Why not check if possible, otherwise fold? The same applies when you get a free flop in the BB.

Doesn't Paradise do this properly? I seem to recall that.
