I had just joined this game, and I had never played this person before. So no read at all. All the hands had been called or raised preflop with no action after a bet on the flop or later. So a tight game

On the first hand, should I have min raised or just called and bet into him on the river. I don't think he had any more in him unless he hit something on the river (straight or full house)?
