Is it possible to psuedo multi-table pacific?

I like the games there, but I don't like being limited to one table. Has anyone ever tried something like having a friend create an account and playing two different accounts from two different computers (on different tables of course)?

I'm thinking I could play one from my laptop and my pal's account from my desktop - any thoughts on this? Would pacific flag two accounts behind the same ip (broadband behind a router)? I can't imagine they would care if they were on different tables....

They have explicitly stated that Pacific does not want to support multitables because it "slows down the table speeds."

Well shorten the timer to like 10 seconds then.

Absolutely.

Plus, if pacific somehow figured out that your accounts were for the same player (linked bank-accounts or same physical address or something) then you would run the very real risk of them closing your accounts and/or confiscating ALL your funds.
It's not worth the risk.

Actually I just had an idea, although I'm not sure it would work. Don't they get a lot of traffic coming in through their casino front? What about using their casino to get into a game and using the pacific poker software to get into a game. Would that work?

If you have seperate accounts but the SAME IP or whatever on each account then it will not work.
If you get seperate computers with seperate ISP's or IP's or whatever then you can get on 2 tables....and run the risk of pacific catching you and taking all of your money (and me rooting for them to do just that).

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't think it was a good idea, but I imagined someone had thought of it before.

Just curious, you mentioned in your other post you would be rooting for pacific to find out and take the players money if they were doing this. Why? Purely because it is against the site's rules, or do you have another reason? Do you feel it is un-ethical?

Well it's definitely unethical because you can sit in on the same game and basically play 2 hands at once.

Yes thats definitely unethical. I was referring to playing 2 different games entirely, as most other sites allow. I agree with microbob actually - I'm not trying to argue against his stance, I'm just curious as to why his opinion seems particularly strong.

I know, let's go dynamite our favorite fishing hole, kill all the fish at once, make one big hit and the Hell with tommorrow! Then we can sit around and bitch because there are no fish!

How can you like it that much that you would do any of this to multi table, when every other site lets you do it normally?
