Pokerstars $215 NLHE Hand

I'm looking for opinions on this hand from yesterday's Pokerstars $215 NLHE Tourney. I just got moved to this table and didn't know this guy from Adam. In the BB with 66. Would you fold, call with the intention of pushing after a raggedy flop or re-raise all-in?

Re: Pokerstars $215 NLHE Hand

Since he is in a steal position and with you having him outstacked I think the best play is to push back all in PF and maximize your FE, showing him you are willing to bet the tourney on the hand.

I think Stop & Go's are best used when you have no FE, and you want to represent a hand.

In this case you have a hand and FE, so I'd get all my chips in the middle.

EDIT:my guess is that if he wanted action he would have bet less PF (probably a min-raise), and if he had a hand to play for all his chips he would have pushed PF (if he's aware of his stack size implications).....with all that said he showed AA right

I agree with the push. At this point you have to make something happen, and this seems as good a spot as any.

Woodguy, either Im brain dead at the moment, or totatlly ignorant(prob a combination of the two), but what is this "FE" that u speak of?

Well, I guess it's unanimous. Exactly what I was thinking, folding equity. Unfortunately, the opponent wasn't a player and didn't know enough to fold Q7s. Don't alert the bad beat police because it wasn't a bad beat only a bad call that did me in. Here's the rest of the hand.

I swear...RiverStars and the "Miracles on 5th Street" always amaze me.

Good push, poor call by villain.

You made the correct play, and as it turned out you lost a coinflip.
Just a note, If you did stop and go, you would have lived another day.
I probably would have played it the same as you.

I was just wondering, how much FE do you have? He has to call 23,000 to win 50,000 should he be laying much down there? Obviously I agree he should lay down Q7, but how about if he had a more normal steal like

i) 77
ii) 33
iv) A7s
v) AJo

Which of these are folds?

Yeah the stop and go would have worked but I only really considered it until after as a 2nd guess of myself because, well, it would have worked.
