Empire MTT\'s and Poker Tracker - Are they for real ?
 

I played my first multi table in a while at Empire yesterday was a small 10 + 1 Pot Limit Hold ' Em Tournament with only 20 players.. At the end of the tournament I noticed there was no way to request a multi table tournament summary and it wasn't stored on my hard drive for Poker Tracker to grab.. so after a couple e-mails to support and finally explaining it to them I get this response :

"Dear XXXXXXXXX,

As we see that you are requesting tournament summaries for multi table
tournaments, we had this feature in our old version and once the new
client version has ben released, this option has be disabled for the
multi tables. As the data is huge and is difficult to maintain. Instead, we
have added this feature to store the data of hands as explained in the
previous mail. Now in the new version, the pop up for tournament
summaries is available only for the single table tournament.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to
contact our Customer Care Department at any time. We are here 24/7 to
assist you via email.

They are basically telling me there is no way to get multi table tournament histories to import into Poker Tracker at Empire Poker period [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

It is dumbfounding how they will take a step forward and then a step back at best yet they continue to grow so rapidly.. Wish I was one of their original investors, that is for damn sure [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Party (Empire) has never sent tournament summaries for anything other than their 1 table SNG tournaments. It sounds like they were confused by your request.

So, you need to manually edit this information by using the File/Party and Affiliates Tournament Results - Manual Entry window. You'll need to enter the buy-in, fee, etc. for this tournament (you should see if in the list when the window opens with blanks in these fields).

Maybe I am getting it confused with Stars.. It's been so long since I played a mtt at party !

I'll modify the entries myself right now, I was going to play with it later as I figured you had a way to handle this sort of thing..
