Q: Is it worth me getting an X-Box for this game alone, or shall I just play GTA: SA on my PS2 and wait for the PS3?

New Xbox = ~$130
Halo 2 = $50
Xbox Live subscription = $50 for 1 year (2 months free w/ Halo 2)

Total = $230 for around 15 hours of single player and countless hours of multiplayer. Considering you can spend $20 bucks to see a movie for 2 hours of entertainment, I think an Xbox for only Halo 2 is +EV.

You're going to wait another 2 years for the PS3?

Have fun with PS2 then. XBox destroys it and it's not even close. There's other great games for Xbox too you know, not just Halo.
