Folding TP Heads Up

TABLE CONDTIONS:
This is an aggressive and tricky table, a couple of loose players. Opponent here was mediocre, V$IP 35% PFR 4%, which is tighter than most, he called down too often with any bit of the board, esp. a raggy board against an aggro player (maybe not so wrong). PT shows AF of 3.5 on the Turn, which was clearly his preferred weapon. My image is tight and aggressive and opponent is aware what a PF raise means.

Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Naphand is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG folds, MP folds, Button folds, SB completes, Naphand raises, SB calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Naphand bets, SB calls.

Turn: (3 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Naphand bets, SB raises, Naphand calls.

River: (7 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Naphand calls.

Final Pot: 9 BB
Main Pot: 9 BB, between Naphand and SB.

At the time I figured he likely had a bit of that flop, to call me in this spot, maybe he folds to a Turn bet. I catch and he fearlessly CR. Surely he knows I very likely have a good A? The limp/call/CR looked so much like Ax 2-pair. It's only a 6BB pot after the raise. Who lays it down?

Results in white below:
SB has Ah 4s (two pair, aces and fours).
Naphand has As 9h (one pair, aces).
Outcome: SB wins 9 BB.

I never lay this down. Maybe I should. I will be very interested in responses from people who play better than I do.

I won't fold there unless I have a clear read that the turn raise means TPTK or better from this particular player. Against your average tricky aggressive mediocre low limit 6-max UB player I think I'll win easily often enough to call down.

i call this almost everytime, he could easily be using the ace as a scare card.

Seems pretty standard to me.

Haven't peeked yet, but I smell a TP+Draw on his part... either an OESD or A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] X[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. While two pair is possible, I'm trying to punish on the flop when I hit my first pair if I'm him -- that board doesn't help too many tight/aggro PF raisers, as you describe yourself. So I'd discount the possibility of two pair at least somewhat.

I'll go back & look, but my play here is similar to yours on 4th & 5th. If I'm feeling particularly frisky, I'll 3-bet the turn.

My PokerTRacker database shows me as a "good player"...

Of course I have not set any definition for this category, and it does not auto-update...

How do you see that in the tracker?
Thanks

I give myself the money-bags icon and label it "good player".

Arf-arf.
