AJo from BB?

I often end up mid/short stacked in the party tourneys, perhaps because I'm too tight.

What is the right move here? Call/Raise/Push?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed)

SB (t585)
Hero (t885)
UTG (t680)
UTG+1 (t695)
MP1 (t1120)
MP2 (t1150)
CO (t365)
Button (t2520)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t30, UTG+1 calls t30, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO raises to t150, Button folds, SB folds, Hero?

What has CO been like to this point?

If he's loose, i would think isolating him with a Raise to push him All-in might be good. Otherwise, i Fold this figuring that i'm better than everyone and that i can wait for a better hand. I'm rather conservative early.

Let's think about this.

You have two early limpers, one or both of whom could be slowplaying.

Unafraid, the CO makes a healthy raise and is pot committed, putting you in the middle. You could easily face a re-raise if you call, or a call if you re-raise all in.

The blinds are only $30.

I think this is a clear fold. You are ahead of only AT or worse. As AJoff, you are 11 to 9 dog against an underpair, and big dog against AA-JJ, AK and AQ.

Sure, you could win a big pot. But there are better spots to commit such a large portion of your stack.

Fold. (Unless the CO and really loose and bad and you are sure that a push gets the limpers to fold you can islolate the CO and his short stack, but I wouldnt want to assume that much)

Fold. AJ is a trouble hand, especially from the blinds.

What exactly is your play going to be if the flop comes A92? Your kicker is okay, but you've got the problem of the pre-flop raiser. The only way you can find out if you are ahead is by betting, and if he's got you outkicked, it's going to cost you.
