trouble hand
 

Hi.I got this hand in one of the small montecarlo NL holdem events, I just wanted to know if there is a way to avoid something.
I have 7000, blinds are 100/200, 25 ante, 8 players.
I am under the gun and find QQ, raise 3BB, everybody folds,the small blind(loose aggressive,with 13000 chips ) finally calls, big blind folds.
flop comes T87 rainbow.
He checks, I bet 2000; he calls.
turn comes another 8.
I go all in, he calls; he shows 68offsuit and a blank comes on the river.
is it a mistake to bet on the turn?
