Moving up a level to 10/20 limit

I have played at the 5/10 level for 4 months now and made about 25 000 $. Two weeks ago i started playing the 10/20 level and find it very difficult. My win rate is not close to the 5/10 level. I am about break even. Is there such big difference between the levels?

I play tight aggressive but find the players at 10/20 wilder than at the 5/10 level.

Is there a big difference in play between the levels?
Any comments?

I am thinking about going back to the 5/10 level.

Just to verify, you made $25,000 or $2,500? Kind of a big difference. Unless, of course, you meant $250.

Are you playing in the 6-max games?

$2500 in 4 months at 5/10 would be pretty poor unless you were only playing a few hours a week.

Yes, I can read. Three things came to mind when I read your post. First, in most of the modern world, the "$" symbol when referred to money goes in front of the numbers. Second, there's no space needed between the digits when stating an amount, therefore, the term "25 000 $" makes little sense, unless there's a comma involved and again, no spaces needed. Lastly, and most importantly, I think you're full of it.

Come on guys, lets cut him some slack. It's great that he's finally making the jump to Paradise .10/.20 from .5/.10 after making $25. God speed good buddy, god speed.

If you played every single day of those 4 months, 4 tables for 4 hours a day, that would come out to about 2 BB/100. Now I'm guessing you didn't put in that many hours, but let's say you did. I don't think that someone that could beat 5/10 over that many hands at a very good win rate would realyl struggle to break even at 10/20. If you played fewer hands than your win rate would be even higher, either way I would think that that kind of player could do better than break even at 10/20.
