Dual Screens (LCD + Monitor) for a Laptop?

I have a one-year old laptop with a max 1280x800 resolution. is there anyway I can make it bigger?

but here's my main question: I think my graphics card thing is an Intel Extreme Graphics 2 for Mobile. I have an old piece of crap monitor. Is there any way I can hook the monitor up so I can get the wide desktop thing across the 2 screens? I want to play >4 tables, but I get overlap as it is, so I'm wondering if my POS monitor and my laptop's graphics card thing are capable of letting me do this.

if anyone can link me or tell me how to do this, it would be much appreciated. thanks.

Most newer laptops have video cards that allow for extended desktop. This way you can connect another monitor through the DVI hookup in the back and play 4 games on that and 2-3 on the laptop. If you do not have this ability you should get a new video card. If that is too much of a hassle just get a new laptop.

Why don't you use your $400 Empire VIP bonus and buy a new PC?

Right click on Desktop,
Select Properties,
Select the Settings tab,
Click on the rectangle with a "2" in it (should be the bigger one),
Check the option that pops up and says "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor.

I hope this helps. You should do this with your monitor plugged in and it should work immediately after you hit "apply".

Ack! You never told him there was a cost involved!

I think this is what they call "entrapment."
