good vegas mid stakes?

i kinda feel like people are probably tired of this, and everyone else on the board has asked where their game is in vegas...but i have not found anything on 5/10 - 10/20 (which i would think would be mid stakes). i saw monte carlo has 4/8 which looks good because of the micro brews you can get...but where are the juicy games for these levels? i am staying at the flamingo, so closeness is nice but really doesnt matter. thanks for the input, and sorry for another one of these posts.

Mirage. Good room, good comps, good games, good waiting lists, good proximity.

Unfortunately, the Monte Carlo "micro brews" are pretty dismal. I'm a "never met a beer I didn't like" kind of guy, and I don't like any of their beers.

And, with a couple of small exceptions, if you want to play higher than $4-$8 limit hold 'em in Vegas, your choices are the Mirage and the Bellagio.

Mirage and Bellagio are the obvious choices, with 6/12 and 8/16 respectively. Mirage also spreads 10/20.

A relatively new room that a lot of people forget about is the Golden Nugget, which spreads a 10/20 game. Of course, you have to travel downtown.

Also, the Orleans (just off strip) spreads 6/12 and 10/20.

Unfortunately, the landscape for mid-limit plus is pretty limited in Vegas.

Bump. I'm glad you asked. I am looking for the same info for my trip to Vegas in a couple months. Lots of info on the low limits which sound very juicy, but I've got the bankroll to play higher....where are the "rich fish"?

I am guessing they'd be at Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, and Mirage? Can anyone comment on how these games compare to Party $2/4?

Hey Mike - Mandalay Bay has a 3/6 and a 6 12 with a half kill, last I was there. Both were incredible games that you could crush.

I just got back from Mandalay, and they only had 4-8 and no limit. I played 15-30 at Bellagio.

How was the 15/30 game at the Bellagio? Did you also play 8/16 there. How do they compare? Thanks for your help..

One of those exceptions is the Orleans, which has a good 10/20 with a half-kill during the evening hours. Terrible players for the most part. Stay away during the day; it's not a very good game.
