Dan Harrington\'s hat
 

I've been wanting to start a post about his hat for 3 weeks now. That hat is sweet. It is funny becuase Harrington is so ordinary, and he has this green redsox hat on that came straight out of a rap video. He even has the bill un-curved. All he need is for Devilfish Ulliot to make him a 3 fingered ring "bling-bling", and a gold tooth to complete the thug look.

I don't like the green Red Sox hat. It just doesn't look right.

I think it is sort of an irish thing. Boston having a high population of irish and Harrington being Irish (I don't know if he is from boston though).

He must have learned how to wear it from former Sox manager Jimmy Williams who also wore it without curving the bill and also looked like a complete dufus.

i heard he is from around this area... also when he talks on camera i can detect a very slight accent, although not nearly as thick as mine [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

i too think the hat is all about irish pride.

It's funny because I'm ordinary white bread. I wear t-shirt and jean or shorts all the time and I never wear anything flashy and I don't like rap music. But I like seeing guys wear crazy clothes whether they are white or black.
