60K on a Monday night?? Amazing. 60,182 right now.

UB has almost 13k right now.

Most amazing to me is 23.5K on P-Stars.
I haven't played there in a couple months and just logged on to check.
I thnk the highest I had ever seen Stars was 14-15K.

The WSOP must be having an awesome effect on the sites. Party could probably go much higher than 60K come Friday night after Tuesday's episodes of the WSOP.

How is party getting new members since they outlawed advertising online sites on TV? I know that I got hooked on party from seeing the ads last year, but how are people getting hooked this year?

I think A LOT of players know that Party exists and that the WSOP is just pushing them into starting to play on it. I bet that accounts for a big percentage of the increase.

They are still wearing Party shirts and hats at the WSOP, just not the final table.

Also - Party still has SEVERAL TV ads running on different networks.
The commercials are for Party.NET (not dot-com) which is a PLAY-money only site. They do this to keep the ads legal...but certainly many of those players are finidng their way over the Party-dot-COM to play for real-money.

these ads have run quite a bit on CNBC, MSNBC, Fox-News, TV-Guide Channel....and many others have reported seeing them regionally during major-league baseball games on their local networks.


FWIW - I don't think the jackpot has much to do with the increase. UB and P-Stars are both growing rapidly as well.

I think a little bit is party's TV advertising and a LOT of it is the WSOP-ESPN coverage.
SOOOO many people (many of whom still with absolutely no idea how to play) are talking about seeing the poker on TV.
