Could some one please fill me in on the poker room and the casino, the nature of the play, whether it is smoke free and how the accomodations are. thinking of staying there in Oct. thanks

didn't stay there but i played there couple weeks ago... big spacious room, they run 3/6 holdem and up and also 3/6 or 4/8 omaha/8... no stud when i was there... there is no smoking but since it is not a separate room but just a corner of the casino, you usually just have to walk a few feet to have one - players were neither particularly good nor particularly bad... they are better than low-limit players on the strip though

They spread up to 10-20 hold 'em, They also have a $200 buyin no limit game with 2/4 blinds or maybe 2/5 blinds?

The pokerroom is smoke-free other than a few hours in the middle of the night. Tournies are awesome. I have stayed there a few times and have had no complaints about either the room or the casino.

If you have a poker widow in tow with you, that place is tight on machine games!
Worst one of the so called 'locals' casinos, if one goes belly up in the coming years, I won't be stunned if it's the Orleans.
