SSH is missing something!

Mason, SSH is missing something: bigger outer margins!! I'm working through it now and I would love to be able to write some notes next to key portions of text. The current outer margins are only about 1/4" and they just don't cut it. There's simply not enough room!

For future printings of any 2+2 text, please make some more room, whether it be bigger paper or narrower text. I'm sure I'm not alone in my willingness to pay a little extra for some additional "textbook" qualities. Thanks in advance.

it's also missing the P.O. Box number where satisfied customers can have ice-cold 12-packs of beer delivered to Ed.

Hi Munga:

Your comments are interesting to me since their is another publisher out there of poker books who pads their page count by using very big print and extra wide margins. On the other hand, we sometimes get criticized for leaving some blank space on a few of our pages.

The bottom line to this is that we are happy with the way the formatting and layouts of our books have evolved.

Best wishes,
Mason

Mason,

Haha..great point. Cardoza's 'Ken Warren Teaches Texas Hold'em" is probably the worst offender - it's over 400 pages but it could have been easily condensed into less than 100 pages. The amount of filler in that book is incredible!

Internet Texas Hold'em is another book that uses tight margins and quite frankly I think it is a much better format.

The last 3 pages in the book are reserved for notes.

I've seen this criticism and did notice the lack of blank space in Ed's book (not a problem for me). Anyway, got it two days ago at the Bike gift shop where according to the sales clerk the book is "flying" off the shelves. There was only one left last night, more are on order I hope.

So far have read about half of it and think it is incredibly good. Ed was the right man for the job.

We are looking forward to the Harrington/Robertie and Raymer books on NL.

Regards,

Rick

PS Notorious RGP poster happened to be in line next to me and I talked him into getting the book. He will probably post a lengthy review soon if past performance is any indication.
