Any Vegas dealers here?
 

I live in the midwest and am considering moving out to Vegas in a few months. I have family there so I would have a place to live for awhile.
I am wanting to land a job as BJ dealer and am looking for advice from anyone who has done the same. What dealer schools are recommended? What casino's have in house training? Am I naive to think I will land a job on the strip right away? Also, I am hearing that most of the casino's do a HAIR sample drug screening. Is this the norm? I do smoke the sticky and am concerned about this obviously. Are they looking for harder drugs or would they turn down employment for trace amounts of THC?

Where in the Midwest are you from? What games do you deal besides blackjack? Do you deal pitch? How long have you been dealing...If you dont mind working for a-holes I could direct ya to a place that will hire you and start ya full-time and you'll be making 45K/year...Starting on the strip's major resorts is pretty much impossibe right away but in 6 months could be a reality. BJ Dealers start off-strip unless they have juice and have to pass a hiring drug test and are subject to periodic testing.
