TP/decent kicker, capped flop. Should I be scared?

Party 15/30. I'm new to the table, so no reads.

2 EP limpers, and I limp in MP with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (Transgression against humanity? usually I will raise, but this time I limped)

Button and the blinds come along.

six to the flop

Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

EP1 bets, EP2 raises, I 3-bet, button folds, blinds fold, EP1 calls, EP2 caps it, I call, EP1 calls.

Three of us to the turn

Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

EP1 checks, EP2 bets, I call, EP1 calls

River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

EP1 checks, EP2 checks, I bet, EP1 is the only caller.

Comments on all streets appreciated. Thanks.

Seems like you played it fine. EP1 probably has a weak ace, although it's possible he has hit aces up and got scared because of all the flop action. I'd think about raising the turn and checking through the river unimproved, but I generally don't make that move against unknowns.

Yes, I thought about that line after the hand too. Raise the turn, then any flush/straight draws really pay, and I can check through the river depending on what comes. I like it, but do you release to a 3 bet?

You have a gut-shot draw, so no, I'd call the 3-bet and fold the river. That's why I'd hesistate using this line against an unknown. If I had good control of my opponent and know that he would need a very good hand (top 2 pair or set) to 3-bet me then I'd probably raise.

Without reading any other responses, I'd say no, it's too early for you to be scared given the obvious flush draw is out there. A 2 pair is possible as well, but you have outs against it.

Yes, it is.
As for the rest of the hand you played it fine. My guess is
that EP1 had ace-little of spades and EP2 had T9 of spades.

MHIG.

EP1 shows T9o for the OESD that picked up a pair on the turn.
I can only assume EP2 was pushing a flush draw.
