Ip visibility

I believe moderators can see posters' ips now. Chuck doesn't want any ip bannings, but iguess it's useful to figure out if multi-trolls are the same moron.

I believe we have had the ability to see IPs since the last major upgrade. It doesn't appear as though anthing has changed in that area since then.

Ever since the upgrade, the "edit user" admin menu has displayed a users registration and last post IP(s).

Ohhh, I see what's different. The IPs are listed on the posts themselves. Works for me.

You can see them in some forums and not in others.

I'd love to be able to see them in all forums, but this is great for now. Thanks Chuck.

Yeah, you can only see them in forums of which you're a mod. It'd be nice to see them everywhere, but I'm not sure if that can happen.

I'd like for the ability to search for users based on IP. That way if we find a particularly nasty gimmick account we can search to find out who the OP is.

It's not going to happen with the current software. These are the things we need to look for when we upgrade.
