WTF is this donk mean?

I just sat down at the table, they are all donks with vpip in at least 75%*, no one is raising preflop they are all really passive. I just saw 5 to the flop, no one bets the flop, CO bets the turn. They all call. The river comes, CO checks. Button bets and takes down the pot with 44. All cards on the board are higher than this.

Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero raises, 1 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (8.00 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, BB calls, UTG folds, Hero??

grunch: 75% vpip means they'll play any ace, but how many hands is that? Any specific reads on the sb, bb?

Barring reads, I raise this to see where I'm at - I call a 3 bet and fold on the turn ui if sb bets it out. If they just call the raise, I bet the turn and check through on the river.

"They are all really passive"

If that's the case, when one bets and another calls, I'm folding here.

Pardon me in advance if my reply is off-base. My short-handed game is rusty.

I used to find that, after someone else raised preflop, tougher opponents would often lead at that flop if they hit an Ace, while weaker players would let you bet the flop with the intention of check-raising the turn.

But weaker players would often tend to bet the flop into you with a good draw, a very strong made hand (a set or straight), or nothing at all.

You've described the table as pretty loose-passive, so I would guess that you're up against the weaker kind of players. That suggests to me that you're more likely than normal to be ahead. I'd call down, since you're not much ahead of a draw, you're drawing nearly dead if the SB has a very strong made hand, and you want to encourage the SB to keep firing if he's bluffing. Of course, if the BB finds some aggression later in the hand, I'd reevaluate the plan to call down.

the pot is 5 BB, calling down will cost you another 2.5BB.

When your ahead you get sucked out on often, when behind you you suck out rarely

when all factors point to fold ^_^
