I am thinking just bet. What does checking accomplish?

allows for checkraising

i mean, who can resist betting after i check to him TWICE after he raised preflop?

obv this is meaningless without a read tho. i think it's equally likely that he checks behind vs he bets. but it's also good for metagame as well as getting some reads about him.

But what's good about checkraising? Are you calling down a 3-bet/river raise? It seems like you just cost yourself extra when he has a big hand and let him off the hook with A-high/pairs that he would have called down with (these hands will also check behind again fairly often).

true. but i dont think a pair is folding (since the c/r is really weird) and i can get some hands to commit a bet when they would ahve folded (like 67s or some other missed hand for example, which might take a stab at the pot).

also if he tries to take down the pot with an OESD or a gutshot i can punish him.

maybe you're right though. i will think about it.

This can be really good, actually. You'll feel silly the times he's slowrolling a set, though.
