whos goingto the WSOP?
 

so far this has been nothing but a headache.
we're leaving to vegas on the 4th of july because we can't get a flight on the 5th, and the site he won the seat through demands he be out there the 6th by noon.

if youre going where are you staying? and how do you plan on getting to and from the rio? any place we have found that offers a fair rate to what we are looking to spend on is downtown, and doesn't offer a shuttle service. any place near the rio is out of the price range. with exception of gold coast, but their weekend rates are pretty high. and thats when he'll mostly be needing to get to-from the rio.

someone please offer some advise.

I've been out here for two weeks and will be here the remainder of the WSOP. Renting a car is a good option. It's fairly easy to get around here and you can park for free at the casinos. The Rio is very easy to access. Plus, you'll have more options to go other places, since you'll have the transportation.

As for lodging, I can't help you there - I'm in a rental house, so I really don't know about the different hotel situations.

Im staying at Imperial Palace. I hear its kinda shitty but you can get a room for 40 something dollars a night i think and its pretty close to Rio.

Renting a car is the way to go. Cheapest cars are something like $110/wk. Very affordable considering that getting cab rides to and from the airport is $15+ each way, then $10 each way to and from the Rio.
