Aerogel jackets
I've been thinking of getting one of these for a while. Anyone know how well the aerogel insulation stands up over time?

that jacket looks awesome. do you know warm it will keep you (ie what temp it is rated down to)?

Re: Aerogel jackets
I don't know much about this Aerogel business, but I have been rocking Burton gear for the 11 years that I have been snowboarding and they make quality goods. I would trust any claims they make with respect to quality and would count on their jackets to hold up for several years.

I think I'm going to buy one of these, but I can't decide on the color.

Re: Aerogel jackets
I know nothing of jackets, but aerogel has always seemed like just impossibly awesome stuff to me, so your jacket would at least be cool.
