poll: Scottrade v. Firstrade

I've never personally used Scottrade, does either have any obvious disadvantage in comparision to the other?

I personally use E*Trade and am very happy with it.

I like Scottrade because it has S&P stock research.
Others may as well, I don't know.

For low volume investors, almost any of the major online brokers will do. Pick one that provides the extras that you are looking for, and an interface that you are comfortable with.

For high volume traders, you need a direct access broker like Tradestation, CyberTrader, Interactive Brokers, etc.

Is there an online broker that gives free access to ValueLine?

No. Scottrade gives access to S&P research.

I'm asking if there is a online discount broker that offers ValueLine.

I don't want to pay the high cost, and the library is all the way across town!
