I've seen this done with combo draws, like say he has 78[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. It's probably more likely he has a set though.

Why did you bet so much on the flop by the way?

Looks like the converter screwed up there was $2.50 in the pot on the flop, I usually bet at least 75% of the pot on flop if I bet.
