Final Pot: t230

This feels so wrong. By the way, this is more than just a pf question. If you're not doing what I'm doing, what is your plan for the hand.

what is your read on villain? I usually call here and see what the flop texture is like. Any ace, and I'm out. Rags and I may be going broke against a big pair or losing a big piece.

I reckon you played it fine, but it is tempting to call. It depends on your opponent I would say. If he's been very active up til now (I'm guessing at level 2, he must have at least a couple of hands?) and raising a lot, then I'd be more inclined to call and see a flop, but if he's a solid player I think you'd have to let this go. Even though it does seem weak-tight, I agree. Just don't think there's a better line here than that though. Risk/reward ratio is way too high for a push or something like that, re-raise commits too much of your stack and an overcard flops too often (even if you aren't behind an overpair already), and the value isn't there to call for set value.

also, is this not a good time for a stop and go?

Not much of a raise by Villain...

Your stack size is awkward, and you're OOP, but I think I reluctantly call here. Bet 2/3 on flop with zero or one overcard, except an A, or if you hit the set. Check otherwise.

Do you raise 99 here? (I agree with you about raising TT here).

depends, if table is real aggro more likely to call, but its better to raise pf n take control of hand.
