Re: Novermber Goals Post

1. Stay focused - for me this means two or three tables max, $15-$30 to $30-$60.
2. Build on my success in October, September, and August -- I made several small, fundamental changes to my game in August and have had great success since; perhaps my best three month run ever.
3. Delve deeper into PT, at which I am very much a newbie.
4. Get to sleep before 2 am (damn this "having a life" stuff).
5. Lather, rinse, repeat.

care to share?

I ask because I did the same thing, my changes were:
- steal less
- defend less
- call down less with big unimproved aces

I made these adjustments after my first 30-40k hands of SH and I couldn't be happier. just curious what type of adjustments you made.

1) Quit being a moron and start playing some [censored] hands.
2) Same as #1.
3) Continue practicing my new belief that downswings don't exist.
4) Put in five eight hour days over the course of the month. I need to learn to put in the occasional really long day.
5) Have my best monetary month ever.

1. 15k hands at 5/10
2. Always practice good game selection.
3. If I can't find a good table, have the will power not to sit.
4. Play two tables max and take player notes.

5. It looks like you should eat more cheeseburgers

I have a hard time believing that those can be good adjustments.

1) Play 20k Hands
2) Don't fail my exams while looking at 2+2
3) Work on a few areas of my game, like blind defence and turn laydowns.

Re: Novermber Goals Post

1.) Study/Read more and to commit a few things to memory.
2.) Review more of my hand histories in PT using the filter to find leaks.
2.5) After reviewing hands post them here so I can be made fun of for sucking.
3.) Bonus whore and win a total of at least $1,250
4.) Play 25k hands or more.
5.) Reduce my going to showdown stupidly% which will be a result of 2 and 2.5 hopefully.

I'll stop there but I have a few other minor things like reorganizing my office to be more of a relaxing (currently in the garage) place than a dark dungeon where evil lives.
