QJs against a donkbet on the turn

i usually wouldn't raise QJs after a limper on the button, just go ahead and limp. i had no stats on mp2 but his screenname was "J7offsuit" or something like that.

I would play it exactly the same way. Hopefully he has J7

cool avatar!

I like a call here on the turn. your opponent likely picked up a draw here on the turn and may have a pair to go with it. if you just call he'll likely take a stab at the pot again on the river even if his draw doesn't come in since your call will make him think it's possible that you just have overcards.

i'd consider raising a non-heart river. this is particularly good if he's a showdown monkey. i'm seeing more and more players who just won't fold on the river no matter how obvious it is that they are beaten.

p.s. raising QJs on the button is g00t

I think it's a big mistake not to raise preflop, why would you usually limp? Makes no sense to me.
I won't take a line which involves folding this hand against an unknown and I would hate to get 3bet so I will just call down, bet if checked to on the river and call a CR. I think raising could be the better play though. I would do it with AJ and call down a 3bet.

I would just call.

The pot isn't that big, your kicker is strong but not the best

nh.

you can't be calling this turn donk and give a draw a free/cheap river. raise for value. the difficulty would come if he 3-bets.
