How Do You Change Your Name at Party?
 

I thought I recalled reading somewhere here that you can change your screen name at Party. Can this be done? If so, how? Seems like a great way to defeat someone using player notes and PokerTracker, not that anyone at Party actually uses these things, mind you.

Contact customer support and ask them. They will ask you for 3 preferences. Then they will change it for you.

Email support with your request, but be prepared to be told "that name is not available". [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Emailed them this morning, 30 minutes later....my name is changed. Doesn't seem right, but if others can do it I might as well do it too and make anybody who has any notes on me start over.

How? I still log in with my old name but when I sit, it shows my new name. How will they know? There isn't a feature to actually find people on Party, right? It seems to me they will know I am logged in, but could never find my old name at a table. Show me what I am missing Lori? [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

P.S. Jeez, I hope I am not on TOO many buddy lists (I'm not that bad am I?) [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

When you change names, it automatically updates the buddy list to the new name.
