New to 6-max. What are these donks 3 betting preflop w/?
 

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I just got into limit and 6 max, and I am loving it so far. I have read SSHE and know many hands that a 2+2 full ring player is advised to 3 bet preflop w/, but I am often wondering when I see the donks on Party 1/2 3 betting preflop. What range is normal in these situations. Although I always call w/ AK, I am often wondering about AA or KK. In NL, a 2nd pf raise usually meant one of those 2 (at least at Pacific).

What is the usual range here? Anything? Depends on stats I know, and sorry if this is vague. Any help is appreciated.

1 of 169 different starting hands. But probably never AA or KK. They like to limp those.

Yeah... too vague.

It could be AA and KK for a tight player. For a 20/5 player maybe AA-QQ and AK. For a TAG, assuming he has position on you, AA-88, AKo-ATo, AKs-A8s, KQ, KQs-KJs. And then there's the dude who 3-bet me with 73o from the SB. That was fun. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

And a 40/5 guy probably pops A7s-A2s, JTs, and limps his monsters. And I 3-bet a lot more than AA and KK.

Most Party players 4bet with AA through QQ and AK. Some of the better players will three bet lighter. The occassional goofball will 3bet stuff that they shouldn't even be limping with.

Yeh I have been suprised a few times to see a limper show AA or KK on river.

Just calling them donks cus most are. At least those are the tables I sit at after selecting the fishiest w/ PT. But I dont want to sound cocky, cus like I said, I am new to the limit 6 max
