Rakeback now good on blackjack, but a question!

Its House Advantage % multiplied by Amount Wagered.

So the question is, what % rakeback do you need from your affiliate to make this +EV?

My guess would be 101%, assuming you play perfect strategy.

You get RB on the money you lose overall I believe. So you need 101+% RB to profit.

i reckon everyone should delete the blackjack image file from the party poker directory. if you're a winning player, stick to something you can beat, and if you're a losing player, well i need your money more than party does!

Re: Rakeback now good on blackjack, but a question!

I have nothing to add other than that I am an idiot luckbox.

I screw & accidently leave 12$ on party when I mean to withdraw it all, so I sit at the BJ table & proceed to bet half of whatever bankroll I have (so I can double & split), figuring I'll either lose this massive sum of cash, or get to a high enough amount it's worth cashing out. This was on Monday, and does not seem like the act of a compulsive gambler to me, even understanding that BJ is a -EV game. In ~2 hours I have $2,150, and I'm convinced that I am a compulsive gambler, betting max etc. when I've never bet anything above the minimum playing -EV casino games before (which isn't too -EV with free drinks =).

I feel that I am not safe having that much money on Party anymore, so I cash out $1,500 & tell myself that I'm only going to use the remaining $650 for poker occasionally, so my account doesn't get closed & I don't lose my 60k party Points. Alas, yesterday, I cannot resist the blackjack, and instead of 3tabling 3/6 6max on Eurobet as I usually do, I sit & play blackjack on Party some more, running it up from $650 to $5,400. I am now convinced I will ruin my life if I don't cash this all out immediately.

I'm not sure if this is a useless brag post, or a desperate cry for help.

its both....go into your Party folder and delete your blackjack files so you wont even see it (and hopefully forget about it actually being there)

It depends on what they mean by HA. Are they referring to the theoretical HA for a player who uses perfect basic strategy (0.5% or so), or are they talking about the percentage they are actually taking, on average (2% or so). If it's the latter, it could be +EV with a rakeback of over ~25%.
