Preflop call I don't like. Even if the blinds are loose and you think you're getting good odds on your call, you have a hand thats likely behind MP1's range. You do have position though.

I like postflop.

Lets say you hadn't posted and you cold called MP's raise with Q9o. Do you really think you're expected to lose more than half of the money you put in?

I think the hand is well played from start to finish.

I don't see a problem here, you could also 3 bet this preflop.

Since you were going to hit 3 of a kind by the turn, a cap pre-flop here is a MUST.

Pre-flop is just plain ugly, rest of the hand is standard.

so i guess the only question here is preflop? because i don't see what else you could possibly be asking about.

the hand plays itself in my opinion from the flop onward. i don't like the preflop call though.

I don't quite understand what you're saying here.

Re: Posting with Q9o...hit mid pair

Why, we know nothing of the player and a decently aggressive unknown will raise a wider range than normaly here. The question is do you do better with a 3 bet and limit the field and secure position or call and let others in.

Folding has to be the last of our options, so is raise or call better. [as was mentioned before if we have a negative expectation, and we likely do it is not so great as the BB we are giving up by folding]
