On the bubble, Queens in the blinds facing a raise

There are a lot of short stacks and we're dealing hand-by-hand. Next one out doesn't cash. Here's the hand:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (6 handed) converter

SB (t472)
Hero (t13915)
UTG (t16248)
MP (t15756)
CO (t13505)
Button (t8973)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to t2400</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero...

No reads on villain with regard to this situation.

I'll pretend you aren't considering folding here...

Push, and hope that CO does some third-level thinking and decides you are trying to bully him on the bubble (since you do have him covered) and calls with something like AT.

What, are you stalking me John? I pushed... I certainly wasn't going to fold but I don't know if since I'm on the bubble and out of position if a call is better.

Being out of position is an argument for pushing, since it neutralizes Villain's positional advantage. Your goal here should be to get as many chips in the pot as possible. If you think he will almost certainly fold to a push but will make a continuation bet, then you can call and check-raise all-in on the flop. But I like pushing, as it gets the money in when you are almost certainly the favorite and gives Villain an excuse to put you on a steal.

Okay, excellent. Confirmation rocks. He did call with AQ. My hand held.
