Limit Man needs a little advice

i play lots of limit, currently 3/6 to 5/10, profitable for all of my 130k hands (all limits.)

I want to learn nl (know nothing about it), but some ?s.

What stake to start? 25nl would be the obvious choice, but that is just giving up so much hourly ev that I don't know if I could do it.

Also, is the play down there so bad that it would give me bad habits when I moved up? ex all in w/ tptk good idea at 25nl but bad anywhere higher?

Considering Miller's short stack play, but that is just boring (tried a bit.) But seeing as how I've played NO nl should I start with that?

thoughts from people who've made the jump?

Oh, and is HoH vol. 1 best starting text for a complete noob? Thx...
