From limit -> PL??
 

What are the advantages of playing PL O8 vs limit?
I have been thinking about switching to PL, but since I am a limit SH HE player mainly, I tend to stick to SH limit.
When I play live, I play limit(kill).
Are the BR requirements different than NL/PL HE?
I multi-table and play mostly 10/20 limit HE, 2-4 tables at a time with a 5-10K BR. Would this be sufficient for a game like $400 PL O8?

It's more interesting and more profitable.

10k would be fine for 400 level.

You might want to mess around on the smaller buy-in games before you dive in too much. I think that there is a much bigger difference between limit and PL O8 than there is between limit and PL holdem. Still, I find PLO8 much more profitable than any other game I play right now and I am still fairly new to the game.
