I need help with Neteller ATM card

I'm looking for information on Neteller ATM withdrawl fees. I did a search and found some useful info. Could someone please verify the following:

1) $2 fee per transfer to fund your Neteller ATM card from your Neteller account

2) $2 fee per withdrawl from the ATM machine

3) To avoid a dormant fee, transfer the funds from the card back to your Neteller account

Q1) Can you fund your ATM card more than $1000 per transaction? Has anyone tried to get this limit increased?

Q2) Is the daily withdraw limit $1000? Can you withdraw the whole $1000 or do you have to withdraw $500 twice (i'm guessing this is ATM specific)?

Q3) Are there any other fees not mentioned here like an additional fee from the ATM's bank?

Q4) Is there a fee to transfer funds from the card back to your Neteller account?

Thanks,

JC

Need help too !!!!

Q1 Same
Q2 same

Q5 The limit of $1000 means you must withdraw the $1000 before you can fund the card again? Or ...I can fund a $1000 a day and have a balance of $10,000 and withdraw a maximum of $1000 a day.

thanks

Re: I need help with Neteller ATM card

Hi JC,

I use the ATM card and here's what I do.

Transfer $999.00 to the debit card. It cost $2.00 so my balance on the card is $997.00.

I then withdraw $500.00 and it deducts another $2.00 plus the ATM charges another $1.50, so that leaves $493.50 on my card.

I then have to wait 24 hours to withdraw more. I then withdraw $490.00 and the charges are again $2.00 from neteller and another $1.50 from the ATM machine leaving me with $0.00 balance on the card.

It ends up costing me $9.00 per $1,000.00 withdrawn.

Hope this helps,
-Steve

Steve, thank you very much for sharing.

This was exactly what I was looking for. $9 for every $1K is pretty good, all things considered

Re: I need help with Neteller ATM card

Was reading Neteller was I was planning on loading the debit card and I see this chat :

"USAGE TYPE CANADA/USA INTERNATIONAL
DEBIT CARD TO NETELLER ACCOUNT FREE! FREE!
NETELLER ACCOUNT TO DEBIT CARD 2.9% MIN. $2.00 2.9% MIN. $2.00
ATM CASH ADVANCE $1.75 $4.25
POS TERMINAL TRANSFER $1.25 $4.25
DECLINED ATM/POS TRANSACTION FREE CND/$1.00 US $2.25
BALANCE INQUIRY $1.75 $2.25
STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT $1.50 $1.50
DORMANT CARD CHARGE -( SEE NOTE 2 BELOW) $7.00 $7.00
"

"NETELLER ACCOUNT TO DEBIT CARD 2.9% MIN. $2.00 2.9% MIN. $2.00 " Is the part that disturbs me - Where do you guys gt $2.00 ? The way I read this transfering $1010.00 (2 $500 withdrawls and a little extra money to cover all fees) would cost me $29.29 !!!

If so that's horseshit and they are clearly helping the person who is avoiding income taxes at a high price.. Or is there something I am missing where the fee is only $2.00 MAXIMUM ?

This is copied and pasted right from their website.

Just click on withdrawal and then fee schedule.

Withdrawal Fee Schedule

The following is a list of current fees that are associated with the various types of withdrawals that NETeller uses:

Withdrawal Type Fee TIME
NETeller Debit Card $2.00 USD up to 15 minutes
Peer-To-Peer 1.9% (Recipient Pays) instant
EFT FREE 1 - 2 days
Check Fee Regular Mail $2.00 USD minimum 2 days

Hope this helps,
-Steve

You cannot transfer back from the neteller card acct to your neteller acct. Seems daft but that's how it is.

I can only move 1k/day. Haven't asked for more (my lifestyle obviously isn't on the same scale as yours... )

You can keep adding to the card according to the 1k/day withdrawal from your neteller acct rule. Your 2nd sentence is correct.

I look for teh 500 machines.

i found a $1,000 machine 30 yards from my home. wooo. fee is only $1.75, and i have mastered the art of transferring the proper amount where i get out 1k and have exactly a zero balance when done.
