AJ, too weak?

just sat down, so no read yet. now that i think about it he probably had me dominated, should i just fold to his preflop reraise? it's also possible he thought i was stealing with air though.

you cant be serious about folding pf, can you?

even if bb is a rock you can peel the flop with your pair outs and backdoor draws

Like never ever do this. Ever

I'm peeling the flop. BB 3-betting range is large here. You're outs are certainly good 2/3 of the time. Plus you have some extras.

You have a strong hand with good position, I would call the 3-bet or cap.

I would at least call the flop, maybe raise.

should i fold the turn UI?

i'm not sure about the "ever" btw. if BB was a known rock i think an exception could be made. if so, on the flop i'm drawing to 6 outs, less if he has me dominated.

Yes, but you improve a lot. A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is enough so is a T. I'd have to think about a 7. That's closer.

on what kind of flop is a fold acceptable?

Kxx and Qxx in general. Obviously, some of those flops you'd peel because you have a draw. There are probably some other boards too. Like a monotone [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flop would generally chase me.

FLOP: Overcards: 3 outs; BD Flush to Jack high: 1 out; BD straight: 1 out. Total 5 outs. I think it's a pretty easy call getting 9:1 before implied odds.

I agree, don't think you can ever fold this PF. You're getting 7 to 1, and almost always 8 to 1 with the SB behind you. That, combined with position and the fact that you raised from a steal position, means you have to call here every single time. The odds alone are enough to compensate for being dominated.

A peel on the flop looks good.
