QQ against a too big pre-flop raise

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converter

UTG+1 (t1530)
MP1 (t1210)
Hero (t1410)
MP3 (t1700)
CO (t1470)
Button (t1460)
SB (t1720)
BB (t1500)
UTG (t1500)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls t20, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to t350</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t1410</font>

No reads, and I'm lost here. Calling the raise puts 25% of my stack in the pot, but I can't muck this hand. (right?)

Is the push OK, or should I have just called here? (Maybe push the flop for a stop-n-go?)

Thanks in advance,
Kong98

If villain is raising 17BB with AA or KK, he's a ninny who got lucky that you had a hand worth doing what you did. I expect to see a lower pocket pair or a high A most of the time. Good push.

I like the push. It's pretty obvious villain doesn't know exactly what he's doing because of his enormous raise and you're just too likely to be way ahead IMO. For some reason it seems to me like he has a pp below Jacks.

I don't think stop and go works here since he is first to act after the flop. Push looks good.

i like the push. You are probably up against one of those idiots that will call or push any A8+.

Thanks guys. He had AA and won the pot. (It was a $5.50 btw)

Btw I like his line since many idiots call with TT or AQ, if u want to go all the way preflop early on make sure u have AA,KK,QQ,AK( preferably AA or KK). If u would have had JJ it would have been a clear fold. Also never fold KK, in 2 way all-ins I prefer to fold QQ if I dont have money in the pot, maybe this is a leak of mine however.

You would really consider folding QQ here? You think the raiser is that likely to have AA or KK? Isn't there a pretty large chance that he'll fold to a push? i'm just curious about your thinking.
