Too aggressive with my overcards?

OK, my first hand post, or any post in the SSH forum for that matter. Hopefully I can become a contributing member, I'll try and give as many comments on other's hands as possible as asinine as they probably will be.

I'm trying to clean up my play with overcards on the flop; it's feels like my single biggest leak right now. It seems (to me anyway) that I raise or fold when the other is the right play. In this hand, UTG and MP1 are both loose passives pre and post flop. In retrospect, I'm thinking the flop raise was probably wrong, I had a backdoor J high flush draw and a backdoor inside straight draw (which is worth what about 0.0008 outs?). Also, check the turn and take a free river or bet there?

Again, thanks for any comments and I look forward to jumping into the discussion here.

I think this is fine on every street.

not sure. is raising AJo preflop after 2 limpers the standard play? it probably is, but i dunno.

Be careful with that flop raise, you really don't want to get 3-bet there. Against opponents who are unlikely to 3-bet/lead the turn it's fine.

Everything else is standard, checking the turn is good.

Yes, take the free card. I can't imagine why else you would raise the flop. The flop raise is good when against passive opponents unlikely to 3bet or stop n go. Nice hand.

Hero wants free cards. Also, Hero labels villains as passive.

AJ has a good chance of being the best hand PF.

perfect...i wouldn't put any more money in after the flop without hitting a pair, which you did...with only one caller, i might bet the turn, though, and then take a free showdown with a brick river
