Any thoughts on how to keep this pot small on the turn? Villian seemed pretty tight. Am I just screwed 'cause I'm OOP?

why do we want to keep the pot small?

You could try betting less to keep it small...just a thought.

You want to keep it small on the flop (1/2 pot), but open it up on the turn. You have to charge draws. You have trips, pot control and playing for small pots are for TP-type hands.

MP1's stack size takes precedent over pot control in this hand. After the flop it's important to realize that he has only one bet left. All the money is going in. Nothing else matters.

Sorry, I didn't post my read. Although his hand range is most likely wider that just a jack, I thought it was a real possiblity.

Actually, once you hit your third jack, pot control is no longer an issue.

I agree that I wasn't paying enough attention to his stack size. The river bet of $1 shows that.

Pot control is for situations where you think your hand might be beat. I thought my kicker was weak and his flop call indicated he might have a jack. A re-raise on the flop and I would have felt more comfortable with a big turn bet after the other jack fell.

I'm not sure why you want to control the pot size here? Villain's got a short stack. I'm happy to get all his money in there.

There is the possibilty of this getting ugly on the river, but it's small, at these stakes people will be in with a single ace all day, dubs would have shown you big raises, you were ahead the whole time. Pot control matters little.
Making it bigger is all that mattered here, and from his short stack, it was already taken care of.
