Boy, SNG\'s are a blast
 

Well, because of the Santa promotion, I found myself in the last hour of the day required to get 100pts ASAP. As an SNG player, this clearly leaves me with only $50+ tournies to make that in an hour (I typically play the $20's).

So, I fire up 9 of them and just hope to god that I can break even.
Well, an hour later, I have one 3rd place as my only cash. Now, I wouldn't have been shocked if I was just outplayed, and this was the result....but this was not the case.

Instead, EVERY SINGLE bustout, I'm talking all 9 times I was eliminated from the tournament happened when I was ahead going to the river.

Now, I have had horrific days before. I remember a 15 buyin downswing through 21 tournaments one day...but I have never had it take place in such disgusting fashion.

I now know what its like to go in with the best hand, and know without any doubt that you will lose, even after being ahead after seeing the turn. Just wish it wouldn't have happened the one time I try and take a shot...bye bye bankroll, how fun.

9 at once to take a shot?

Taking a shot means playing 1 or 2 when you have money to spare, not 9 if your bankroll isn't ready for it.

Yeah, I mean..I get 300 of the 400 back...so, not a complete disaster.

nah, I haven't gotten anything, and don't get it till the end, its a $300 prize I'll be getting...can't wait for it.
