Set, Unscary board, Never Raising (5/10)

Alright, did I miss one or more raise here? I thought throughout the hand I had the best hand, but overcalls just looked so tempting to me, as the two guys behind me seemed to really want to overcall.

So I'm not sure if I extracted enough value out of this, but at the same time, I didn't want the field to face two cold, and the villain had a history of simply calling a raise rather than 3-betting, so I certainly didn't expect a war with him if I raised.

might raise the river as the other two could have been on some kind of a draw....if either has a hand such as top pair he will probably call, and so will mp. If they have busted draws they are folding anyway, so the raise won't matter.

Raise the turn to get more out of draws and TP/MP hands that go to showdown.

I like your flop call.

I raise the turn since it put a flush draw out there. MP might even 3-bet you if he thinks you are raising a picked up flush draw.

You got boned on this flop! How could SB and BB both raise preflop and not lead or CR this flop? Unlucky.

I understand what you're trying to do here, but I would raise the turn. Simply because after the turn there are a few straight draws and a flush draw which some players may be willing to call 2 bets as well. If you don't raise and one of the players would of called 2 cold you are losing bets that most likely you won't be able to make up.

Raise the turn. By calling the turn, you are assuming:
P(both players call 1) > P(1+ players call 2). You will find that this is seldom the case. The key here is the assumption that the players will both overcall; how do you know that? They will often fold to 1 bet.

Failing that, raise the river. This board isn't coordinated enough to drive out top pair or 2 pair with a raise.

you need to raise one of the big streets. and since you called the turn, you definitely need to raise the river, since the pot is so big now they will make crying calls.

like others have mentioned, you should protect your hand from possible flush draws and get their money while you can.

I like you turn play, but raise the river.

You miss out on draws that would have called a turn raise. By raising the river you only collect extra bets from made hands.
